Annette Burd

My education and career in real estate have been defined by hard work, a strong desire to help people find their ideal homes, and a bit of entrepreneurship.

I started my education at St. Mary's DSG in Pretoria, where I laid the foundation for my academic journey. After finishing school, I continued to learn and grow by getting different qualifications. My further qualifications include National Certificate Real Estate: Seta, National Certificate Business Education: Unisa and Public Relations Damlin.


My journey in real estate started in 2003, and it has been exciting and rewarding. In 2005, I took a big step and started my own real estate company in Johannesburg. This was challenging but fulfilling. It taught me how to run a business, take good care of customers, and handle property deals.

In 2020, I moved to Durban to be closer to my family. I joined the Seeff team, a well-known real estate group, as an experienced property expert. I specialize in both rentals and sales, showing that I can help people with different real estate needs. Whether it's finding dream homes or dealing with property rentals, I'm proud to give great service and knowledge.

Outside of work, I focus on staying healthy and active. I make sure to exercise and take care of myself. This helps me stay energized and focused, both in my personal life and at work.

Traveling is another thing I love. Whenever I get the chance, I explore new places and learn about different cultures. Traveling broadens my horizons and gives me fresh ideas, which I bring back to my real estate work.

In a nutshell, my journey from school in Pretoria to becoming a property expert at Seeff in Durban is about always learning, wanting to help people in real estate, and a little bit of entrepreneurship. Staying healthy and traveling also add balance and inspiration to my life, helping me approach each day with enthusiasm and a desire to make a positive impact in real estate and beyond.
