I grew up in the Karoo, surrounded by a family of master builders and architects. My grandfather's notable project included the construction of the iconic NG Church in Pofadder.

Renovation was also a passion in my family, and my grandfather had a remarkable gift for transforming unattractive homes into beautiful mansions.
