The Baxter Theatre has been the home of outstanding South African theatre and performance since 1976.
The Baxter Theatre is a performing arts complex that stages music, drama, ballet, comedy and dance theatre shows and performances and is also home to a buffet-style restaurant and bar.
It is the second largest performing arts complex in Cape Town and has three venues which include the main theatre, concert hall and Golden Arrow Studio.
The Baxter Restaurant offers a buffet of delicious vegetarian options for lunch and dinner, including everything from curries, breyanis and kormas to pastas, vegetable bakes and stir-fries. The Long Bar is open from Monday to Saturdays and operates before, during intermission and after every performance.
The Baxter conducts workshops aimed to benefit the youth of previously disadvantaged communities in the city and also hosts memorable corporate events such as end-of-year functions, presentations, client events, product launches, conferences and team-building exercises.
