If you’re wondering what to do on a beautiful Sunday evening look no further than the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts. This annual summer event is a favourite with locals and tourists alike.
From the end of November to the beginning of April the Summer Sunset Concerts offer music lovers from all genres an evening out with friends and family every Sunday evening.
Set in the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden with phenomenal views of Table Mountain, the Summer Sunset Concerts are ideal for grabbing a picnic basket and blanket along with a bottle of wine to meet up with friends and family to celebrate your shared love of music.
Arrive early and have a short stroll in the gardens before the concert gates open or even have a bite to eat at Moyo’s in the afternoon. Be sure to book at table for Sundays at Moyo’s early as they do fill up quickly due to the concerts.
Sarah Struys, events manager at Kirstenbosch stated: “Only tickets purchased at Webtickets.co.za are legitimate tickets. Please do not purchase tickets from any other websites, as it may be a scam, and there is no guarantee of the validity of tickets bought from any other source.”
All Kirstenbosch concerts take place rain or shine.
