This family holiday home is located central to Hermanus, a charming coastal town. It offers convenient access to various attractions and amenities. Within a short 5-minute walk, to beautiful cliff paths, or take a 10-minute drive to Grotto Beach for a day of sun and sand. If you're in the mood for shopping or catching a movie, the Whale Coast Mall is just up the road.
Hermanus is famous for its whale-watching points. You can spend some time in town exploring the many restaurants, open-air markets, and art galleries. For more adventure, you can take a drive to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Stanford or enjoy a wine tour in the beautiful Hemel and Aarde Valley. There's plenty to see and do, ensuring you'll create lasting memories during your stay.
The home itself provides ample space and comfort, making it an ideal holiday home for larger groups. The open-plan kitchen and TV family room lead to a sunny patio overlooking the pool, creating a perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying a barbecue while watching the kids play. The home is equipped with Fiber and an Android TV box, allowing you to stream from your own DSTV and Netflix accounts. The home also has a small inverter to keep the Wifi and TV on during load-shedding. For colder days, there is a fireplace in the living room where you can cozy up, and the extended dining room provides space for family dinners. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, gas stove, making cooking and cleaning easy and convenient.
Bedrooms one and two have two single beds each, while bedroom three features a queen bed. These bedrooms share a full bathroom. The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own full en-suite bathroom with a double shower for added privacy. All these bedrooms have built-in cupboards and blinds making longer stays easier for unpacking. Additionally, there is a fifth room that is suitable for a teenager or nanny, with a single bed, its own shower en-suite, and direct access to the back garden and pool area.
To ensure your safety and peace of mind, the home is fully walled and features an electric gate, a double garage, an alarm system, and burglar bars.
